✅ Secondment from ULille to Business & AI (07/2026 – 08/2026)
This secondment strengthened the link between industrial AI innovation and THUNDER by transferring knowledge on emerging AI technologies and development practices into the project's research activities.
The secondment focused on Explainable Artificial Intelligence (XAI) and knowledge-guided AI integration. Several technical and scientific meetings were held with the Business & AI team, including discussions with the CEO and AI experts engaged in both AI research and industrial innovation. These exchanges enabled the sharing of complementary expertise, the review of ongoing THUNDER activities, and the identification of opportunities for collaboration between academic research and industrial AI development. Particular attention was given to Small Language Models (SLMs), Explainable AI (XAI), generative AI, and the design of trustworthy AI systems. The secondment also explored how these technologies can be integrated into THUNDER to enhance the interpretability, efficiency, and practical deployment of AI solutions in healthcare.
